Read stories and photos about Ros

Rosalyn was a warmhearted friend and mother throughout her life. She was creative, kind, and caring to everyone she met. Ros led a colorful existence; both in her passion for creativity and her rosy personality. She passed away on August 3, 2020 but lives on in the hearts & minds of friends and family like you. We’ll miss her deeply.

Medical condition

Rosalyn was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in May 2020. She went through three rounds of intense chemotherapy, which weakened her immune system and made her susceptible to even the smallest infections. While she continued chemo, an infection in her lungs started. On the day of her passing, she was cancer free and departed without any pain or suffering.

Survivors

Rosalyn is survived by her son Julian, daughter-in-law Madison, sister Deanna, brother-in-law Kari, and dog Makko. Her other dog Stella, passed away in September 2020 and her husband John passed away in March 2023. They’ll all continue to live on in your heart.
